Melissa Currie-White

Assilem 9 Publications is a small business book publication company, that just opened their doors in 2009. Despite the current economic times, Melissa Currie-White wanted her voice to finally be heard and wanted to finally become a self-published author. She considered joining well-known publishing houses, like Random House, but she concluded that she loves working under her own rules, thus Assilem 9 was born.

Melissa Currie-White was born August 25th, 1981. She is originally from New York and lived there for 20 years. Even though she decided during High School that she loved to write, she still remained clueless on what she wanted her career to be. At 17, Melissa dabbled with modeling and was a contestant in The I.M.T.A. (International Model And Talent Association).  In 2001, after putting her modeling career on hold, she met a great man, moved to Los Angeles, California, got married, had two kids and became a stay at home mom for 6 1/2 years. Melissa didn't decide, until about 2006 that she wanted to go to college to pursue a degree for Broadcast Journalism and will start attending class in the Fall of 2009. Melissa has written several books of different genres including poetry, children's, biography, and fictional. Melissa Currie-White is on a mission to make sure everyone is well informed about her works and will stop at nothing until her journey is complete.
